Job summary

Rehub Physical Therapy and Recovery Clinic OPC seeks an on-site, entry-level Physiotherapy Assistant/Intern to learn and support patient care. You will assist in evaluating symptoms, creating plans, and guiding patients through exercises and modalities under supervision.

The role includes mentoring interns, maintaining records, and collaborating with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to promote recovery. Training opportunities are provided to develop professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their symptoms and physical condition
• Identify movement dysfunction and develop a treatment plan
• Educate patients on how to perform therapeutic exercises, use modalities, and equipment
• Perform physical assessments, manual therapy, and exercises
• Use modalities and other treatments to promote healing
• Keep track of patient goals and progress
• Maintain patient records and document progress
• Help with mentoring and learning within the team (staff, admin, interns)
• Refer patients to appropriate doctors and other allied medical professionals
• Communicate patient progress to doctors
• Help with other roles if needed (administrative, marketing, research)
• Keep PT skills updated and participate in trainings from The Filipino Physio Academy
• Provide mentorship and guidance to help interns navigate the work environment and achieve learning objectives
• Provide regular feedback on intern performance, progress, and areas for improvement
