Job summary

Mactan Rock Industries Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support our on-site healthcare program in Lapu-Lapu. The role requires organization, patient care, and strong record keeping.

You will assist employees with healthcare services, manage medical inventories and reports, and coordinate with the Safety and Health Committee. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, with 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Must be very organized and customer service oriented.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Must be flexible, resourceful and a team player.
• Preferably 1 year experience in Company, Industrial, Hospital or Clinic work
• Has experience in Medical inventory, reports and APE.

Responsibilities

• Prior experience working as a nursing assistant in a healthcare setting.
• Basic computer literacy to access patient records and documentation.
• Maintain and implement proper records management.
• Ensure confidentiality of information and documents at all times.
• Facilitates and assists employees in availing of healthcare services and the accident insurance claims.
• Attends to medical emergencies to ensure that employees are given the right kind of first aid medication/attention and subsequent medical services.
• Monitors charges and usages in the in-house healthcare and accident insurance and makes related reports regularly.
• Coordinates with the Safety and Health Committee and Emergency Response Team.
• Facilitates the implementation of the company’s program on drug testing and other health and safety activities.
