Job summary

Mactan Rock Industries, Inc. in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking a detail-oriented draftsman with 1–3 years of experience to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and related CAD software, based on engineering and architectural designs.

You will coordinate with engineers and project teams, perform revisions, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and maintain organized drawing records. This is an on-site, full-time role requiring strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications, sketches, and engineering or architectural designs.
• Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar drafting programs.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other departments to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and design concepts to produce accurate working drawings.
• Review and modify drawings based on comments, revisions, and project changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and company policies.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to gather measurements, verify dimensions, and update drawings accordingly.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs and quantity estimates based on approved drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of drafting tasks to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate with production, construction, or fabrication teams to resolve drawing-related concerns.
• Perform quality checks to ensure drawings are complete, accurate, and free from errors before issuance.
• Maintain confidentiality of all project designs, drawings, and technical information.
• Stay updated with new drafting technologies, software, and industry best practices.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
