Job summary

Concrete Solution Builders & Supply in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise daily construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule and quality in line with plans.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 2–3 years site supervision, strong AutoCAD skills, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work on-site six days a week and travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 2–3 years site supervision experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, CAD operation for construction drawings.
• Knowledgeable of construction methods, materials, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Ability to interpret structural and other engineering drawings.
• Knowledgeable of quantity take-off, site measurements, and construction documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site (6-days a week) and travel to project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
• Review and interpret engineering/construction drawings, conduct site measurements, and resolve technical issues encountered during project implementation.
• Prepare, modify and update CAD drawings, including Shop Drawings, construction details, layouts, and As-Built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment, and prepare daily reports, progress documentation, RFI's, billings, inspection requests, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management to ensure quality compliance, proper execution of works and timely completion of project requirements.
