Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers, barcode scanners, and POS systems to process cash, credit, debit and virtual card payments.
• Greet customers warmly, handle merchandise with care, and bag items properly.
• Accurately handle cash transactions, provide correct change, and process refunds, exchanges, or rain checks when authorized.
• Balance cashbox at the beginning and end of shifts, reconciling cash totals against sales reports.
• Verify prices, check for product damages or expiration dates, and assist with price checks if needed.
• Comply with safety, security, and company guidelines, including age-restricted item sales policies.
