Job summary

A leading finance company in Metro Manila is seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide essential support to the Finance and Accounting Department. You will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accountancy and at least six months of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of accounting systems are preferred, while fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related course.
• With at least six months of relevant work experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and ensure completeness of accounting entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and maintain up-to-date subsidiary ledgers.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
