Job summary

OC Ledgr in Makati is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team. You will assist in accounting and audit tasks, prepare financial records, and review statements to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a degree in accounting, at least 2 years of experience, and familiarity with Xero. You will work on-site, Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM, with opportunities to contribute to audit engagements and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Preferably knowledgeable using Xero Accounting System
• Proven experience as an accountant
• Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Must be available to start immediately / ASAP
• Must be willing to be assigned to client locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing accounting and audit-related tasks and procedures.
• Prepare and review financial records, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Review accounting transactions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies or unusual items.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers and other necessary documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of government and other compliance-related reports.
• Perform account analysis, reconciliations, and other accounting procedures as required.
• Assist during audit engagements and provide necessary supporting documents.
• Maintain organized accounting and audit records and files.
• Perform other accounting and audit-related duties as assigned.
