Night-Shift SOC Analyst L2 – Incident Response

Job summary

Adventus is seeking a SOC Analyst to join our Managed Security Operations Center supporting ASEAN customers. You will monitor alerts, investigate threats, manage incidents, and coordinate with customers and internal teams for timely resolution.

Working hours include night shifts (11pm-8am on weekdays); 3.5 nights may be required based on business needs. Ideal candidates hold a cybersec degree, experience in SOC/MSSP, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and SOC operations.
• Experience in MSSP environments is a plus.
• Certifications such as Microsoft SC-200, SC-900, CompTIA Security+, or ISC2 CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across multiple platforms and identify potential threats.
• Triage and investigate alerts, analyze logs, and distinguish true/false positives.
• Assess incident severity, gather IOOs, and document findings.
• Manage incidents in ServiceNow with SLA compliance.
• Communicate updates and recommendations to customers professionally.
• Escalate complex incidents to L3 and SOC Manager, support containment/remediation.
• Maintain accurate incident records and shift handovers.
