Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security for the Bank’s systems and data. You will enforce security standards, assess risks, and guide security projects with SME support.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in CS or Information Security, hands-on ethical hacking, and relevant certifications (OSCP, GPEN, CEH). Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Information Security or related field.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 risks and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in ethical hacking and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of networking, forensics, web apps and databases.
• Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, CEH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions for bank systems.
• Enforce security standards and controls across the enterprise.
• Provide technical guidance and risk assessment support.
• Develop detailed designs based on IT security architecture.
• Review security policies and guidelines; identify gaps.
• Monitor and test security devices and configurations.
• Collaborate with ISD teams and support disaster recovery plans.
