Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on building equipment, facilities, and various systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and breakdowns in equipment and systems, recommending improvements to enhance reliability.
• Conduct regular checks of common areas, electrical and mechanical rooms, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Assist contractors with equipment repairs and maintenance, and complete minor installations or construction tasks like carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Monitor and log the operational data of equipment to ensure efficient functioning.
• Maintain corporate safety procedures, comply with regulations, and work towards a safe work environment.
• Ensure that necessary spare parts, materials, and tools are available for completing maintenance and repair tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least two principal engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation and Control.
• Problem-Solving: Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with coworkers and possibly mentoring others.
