Job summary

TradeWindow is seeking an experienced DevOps Chapter Lead to provide technical leadership across a multi-cloud environment, primarily AWS, while governing Azure-based services. You will drive cloud engineering standards, enable secure, scalable platform operations, and mentor teams across Azure and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and driving DevOps, cloud, and platform engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DevOps Chapter, establishing best practices for cloud engineering, automation, platform reliability, and DevSecOps across Azure and AWS environments.
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Define and execute multi-cloud architecture strategies, governance frameworks, and operational standards.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives involving Azure, AWS, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Serve as a hands-on technical leader responsible for cloud platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and delivery excellence.
• Review business and technical requirements to design secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Terraform, Azure Bicep, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Lead infrastructure provisioning and configuration management through IaC practices across Azure and AWS.
• Manage cloud networking, identity and access management, security controls, governance policies, and cost optimization initiatives in both cloud platforms.
• Support and oversee deployment of business-critical workloads, databases, and applications across Azure and AWS environments.
• Implement and maintain observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management solutions using native and third-party tools.
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, platform resilience, BC/DR strategies.
• Champion DevSecOps practices, cloud security frameworks, compliance requirements, and security automation across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide technical direction for continuous improvement and innovation.
