Airbus Helicopters Philippines Inc. is seeking a professional to lead the local MRO strategy and operations. You will drive strategic inputs, coordinate regional initiatives, and ensure cost-effective, compliant maintenance programs in the Philippines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership capabilities within a high-standard aerospace environment.

Responsabilidades

• Propose local inputs for the MRO Aircraft Strategy to the Head of Operations.
• Execute locally the Regional MRO Aircraft Strategy.
• Develop and maintain MRO resources and capabilities plan to ensure availability of competencies and parts.
• Build and provide costed, competitive local MRO offers using local resources effectively.
• Lead and motivate the MRO O&I team; manage staffing and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards; implement transformation plans.

Job Description

Job Mission/Objectives

• Implement local A/C MRO Strategy in the Customer Center
• Optimize cost effectiveness and competitiveness of MRO activities in the CC
• Drive and improve A/C MRO Performance in the CC
• Support the optimization of the development and deployment of resources, competencies and assets between the MRO Hub and the CCs

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy

• Propose to the Head of Operations local inputs for the MRO Aircraft Strategy
• Execute locally the Regional MRO Aircraft Strategy

Forecasting activities

• Propose the local MRO A/C center capability needs (CAPEX, SDP, IMMP...) and align with the Hub
• Develop and maintain the MRO resources and capabilities plan to ensure availability of the required competencies, qualifications as well as parts, tools and services to execute the MRO strategy

Offers

• Build and provide on time and on quality technical and competitive costing elements for all local A/C MRO offers optimizing the use of local resources and assets

Contract execution

• Execute MRO O&I contracts, ensuring on time, cost and quality delivery of the contracts

Performance Management

• Drive application of operational management standards (Franchising standards)
• Conduct performance assessment
• Implement local transformation and improvement plans
• Support Regional Workload / Capacity Balancing between Customer Centers via work allocation where needed

Regulations & Certifications

• Implement the worldwide common group standards in the CC
• Ensure compliance with local regulations (safety, environmental, customers & governmental agencies)

Standards / Methods & Tools

• Ensure effective deployment of AH standards, methods & tools in the CC
• Share best practices within the region

Team management

• Lead and motivate the MRO O&I team
• Plan, review and manage Regional staffing, resources deployment and utilization
• Conduct or contribute as applicable to goals setting, performance evaluation, compensation review
• Identify, assess, manage and develop the required Regional competencies and skill sets; define or contribute to the definition of development, succession and retention plans
• Demonstrate, encourage and develop Airbus Leadership Model behaviors and ways of working within teams
• Promote and live by the Airbus Values

MRO Functions

• Ensures that all maintenance required to be carried out on the line, including line defect rectification, all work on aircraft components, are performed to the required standards; and any corrective action resulting from quality compliance monitoring.
• Ensuring that all work on aircraft components is performed to required standards
• Ensures that all maintenance tasks/ inspections, ADs/ ASBs/ and other mandatory publications are properly carried out in a timely manner.
• Ensures that there are adequately trained, qualified and authorized personnel available to service and maintain customers' aircraft, engines, and components;
• Performs quality control functions, as required.
• Ensures that there are adequate and serviceable tools, equipment and facilities to carry out the different aircraft maintenance/ inspection in accordance with PCAR and OEMs' standards;
• Enforces the highest standards of discipline in adhering to the established quality and safety procedures stipulated in company manuals.
• Prepares the shift and manpower assignment based on the workload.
• Shall be responsible for any corrective action resulting from quality compliance monitoring (as per PCAR IS 6.4.1.1) and provides preventive action plan to preclude recurrence of audit findings;
• Recommends and implements policies and procedures pertaining to technical matters, technical personnel and workload commitment priorities.
• Assists the management in relation to employee performance and discipline.

Professional skills

• Have relevant knowledge and satisfactory experience related to aircraft/aircraft component maintenance
• Bachelor's Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent
• At least 5 years related experience
• Candidates must be currently based in the Philippines and hold valid legal status and authorization to work locally
