Job summary

JRS Business Corporation is seeking a motorized messenger at its Laguna branch. The candidate should have 1–2 years of messenger experience, hold Professional Driver's License 1 and 2, be honest and reliable, and able to work under pressure. ASAP start is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record items received/delivered and recipients' responses.
• Unload and sort items along delivery routes.
• Verify addresses before delivery.
• Plan efficient delivery routes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collecting packages and parcels from the head office or branch and delivering these to specific addresses stipulated in the dispatch officer’s delivery instructions.
• Preventing damage or loss of packages during transit.
• Deal with confidential and valuable documents or packages that need to be delivered safely and sometimes urgently.
• Records information such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.
• Unload and sort items collected along delivery routes.
• Conducting address verification before delivery.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering parcels/goods.
• Obtaining signed receipts and confirmation of each delivery.
• Taking responsibility for high value or confidential items.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• With at least 1-2 years previous work experience as motorized messenger.
