Job summary

AvePoint is seeking a Business Analyst to translate legacy JSF/Java-Bean apps into a modern React SPA with Java APIs. You will document business logic, validate requirements with clients, and support test planning and execution.

This full-time, on-site role requires presence at the client’s office in BGC, Taguig, Monday to Friday. You will elicit requirements, produce SRS, collaborate with Java and React teams, and lead workshops to ensure alignment before artefacts are finalised.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Java development experience with basic HTML understanding optional.
• Comfortable reading Java classes and XHTML, AJAX-driven web UIs.
• Ability to write clear requirement specifications and translate to SIT/UAT tests.
• Strong workshop facilitation and client-facing communication skills.
• Familiarity with React + TypeScript component patterns and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Requirements elicitation and reverse engineering of legacy apps.
• Design documentation and Design Specification updates.
• Lead client workshops and review sessions for high-complexity screens.
• Develop and execute SIT and UAT test plans; log defects and track fixes.
• Collaborate with Java and React developers and business stakeholders.
