Job summary

Gridlines, a rapidly growing financial modelling consultancy, seeks an experienced model audit professional to lead and grow a team of modelling experts. You will analyse complex financial models, ensure accuracy, and drive continuous improvement in modelling methodologies.

Responsibilities include managing assignments, mentoring juniors, and presenting findings to clients while collaborating with remote teams.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevent experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
• Accounting concepts understood; accounting qualification beneficial.
• In-depth understanding of Project Finance concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
• Degree qualified in a numerate discipline; postgraduate qualification beneficial.
• Experience with FAST modelling standard desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Lead model audit assignments, ensuring models are arithmetically and commercially correct.
• Manage a portfolio of active assignments.
• Develop and enhance modelling methodologies and tools.
• Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
• Lead in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Lead a team of model audit professionals and train juniors.
• Communicate model findings and insights effectively to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with team members across assignments and client calls.
