Job summary

Nestlé S.A. is seeking a General Accounting Supervisor to oversee accounting operations across multiple sites in the Philippines. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance while supporting budgeting and strategic financial planning.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years in accounts payable with supervisory experience, and strong ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle). Must be willing to relocate/site-hops as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Based in Tanauan City, Batangas
• Must be mobile and open to be assigned to different sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions including accounts payable, payroll, inventory control, and fixed assets
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with NAS
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Monitor and analyze factory costs using activity-based costing and factory management tools
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and support operational decisions
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements
• Maintain and monitor internal controls, including segregation of duties and risk assessments
• Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits
• Assist in preparing and managing the factory's budget and forecasts
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff (e.g., cost accountants, finance associates)
