Job summary

Marine Benefits Inc. seeks a skilled mobile developer to design, build, and maintain native Android and iOS apps. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to coding and testing.

The role requires strong experience with Swift/Objective-C/Java, RESTful web services, and Git. You will optimize performance, implement UI improvements, and help deploy to Google Play and App Store, while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3 years of mobile app development in a corporate environment for Android/iOS apps and deployment to Google Play / App Store.
• Experience with Objective C / Swift and Java, web service integrations (SOAP, REST, JSON).
• Knowledge of RESTful MVC Web APIs and multithreaded programming.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications across platforms.

• Develop and maintain mobile applications.

• Design and write software technical specifications, write software code and perform unit testing.

• Play an active role in the entire development process - from planning, designing, architecting, coding to implementation and documentation. - Create and scale web APIs (RESTful, MVC).

• Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest iOS and Android programming techniques.

• Build reusable mobile components for interfacing with the platform. - Analyse and optimise UI and backend application code for efficiency and performance.

• Release / deploy iOS and Android apps to the store.

• Maintain quality and efficiency of the platform.

• Document processes and development projects. - API development towards clients' and provicers' systems.

Qualification and skills:
