Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a skilled Systems Programmer to join the MIS team. The role focuses on developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining computer systems and applications to support business operations.

You will gather requirements, troubleshoot, and ensure data integrity while following IT policies. Responsibilities include analyzing user needs, conducting UAT, documenting processes, and evaluating new technologies to improve efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, CE, or related field.
Experience in systems programming or software development is an advantage.
Knowledge of databases and software development methodologies.
Familiarity with system testing, debugging, and deployment.
Strong analytical and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, implement, and maintain computer systems and programs, independently or with the team.
Gather and analyze user requirements to ensure system solutions meet business needs.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide user training when necessary.
Plan, design, analyze, and recommend system enhancements, software solutions, and tools.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including installations, repairs, and tech support.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability of programs and data.
Follow data security protocols and IT policies.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system development, upgrades, and implementations.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve processes and performance.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
