Job summary

APEM PHILIPPINES, INC. in Clark Freeport Zone is seeking an entry-level welder for full-time fabrication and assembly work. You will join a team producing metal components, fixtures, frames and structures to approved drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include performing MIG and TIG welding, measuring and fitting using standard tools, reading blueprints, and ensuring proper alignment and finish. The role emphasizes quality workmanship and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, and TIG and other applicable welding processes.
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques and metalworking practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Skilled in using measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and assembly of metal components, fixtures, frames, and structures based on approved drawings and specifications.
• Carry out various welding processes such as MIG and TIG, and other welding techniques as required.
• Measure, cut, shape, grind, and fit metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Interpret and follow fabrication drawings, blueprints, sketches, and work instructions.
• Prepare materials and components before welding and assembly operations.
• Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and finishing of fabricated products.
