Job summary

Arch Global Services is seeking an Underwriting Service Specialist to work closely with Retail Energy underwriting and actuary teams to intake, organize, and analyze submission data for optimal rates. You will assist in reviewing data and refining pricing strategies.

You will learn underwriting processes, organize data categories, and collaborate with the actuarial department to improve target pricing. Strong math, Excel skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential in this role.

Qualifications

BS in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Strong math and analytical skills.
Proven ability to organize and analyze data.
Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable applying it.
Detail oriented and methodical.
Eager to learn and collaborate with teammates.

Responsibilities

Review insurance submission documents and data for eligibility and completeness.
Organize submission data into categories based on class, exposure, losses, pricing, etc.
Work with Retail Energy underwriters to learn key information we need to collect.
Collaborate with the Actuarial Department to refine target pricing strategy.
