Job summary

NNIT Philippines is seeking a Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations (FO) functional consultant. You will lead design, blueprinting, and configuration for the D365 FO Finance modules and translate client processes into pragmatic, standard solutions.

You will analyze gaps, manage UAT, prepare user guides, and collaborate with architects, developers and global stakeholders to ensure quality, delivery consistency and offshore cooperation.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years successful project experience in Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations (FO).
• At least 1 full life cycle experience (implementation and support) of Microsoft D365 FO project as functional consultants or application architect.
• In-depth knowledge of D365 FO, specifically Finance and Project Management modules/streams: Project Management, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Asset, Financial reporting, Taxation.
• Practical experience with offshoring and cooperation across borders with experience negotiating and resolving issues in a multicultural environment.
• Strong consultancy skills (i.e., should be able to advise customers on the cost/benefit, and risks associated with project decisions).
• Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills, and must be able to communicate effectively and work at all levels of the organization.
• Innovative and proactive in solving problems and improving processes/tools.
• Analytical, self-motivated, responsible, flexible and with positive work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design, blueprinting, and solution configuration for D365 Finance and Operations
• Interpret client business processes, analyze gaps, and design sustainable standard solutions with minimal customization
• Evaluate change requests, bug fixes, and system upgrades within the broader business context; provide estimation and prioritization recommendations
• Build and execute test scripts, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and prepare clear user guides or training sessions for end-users
• Provide hypercare and functional support, including ITIL-aligned defect resolution and hotfix validations
• Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and global stakeholders to ensure aligned technical vision and implementation standards
• Audit delivery deliverables against the organization and industry quality standards to ensure consistency
• Assist with assessments, estimates and recommendations for the prioritization of change requests and defect fixing

About the role

As a Microsoft D365 FO functional (Finance) consultant, you are outgoing, dedicated and responsible. You thrive on taking the initiative and actively communicate at different levels, depending on the target audience. Your approach is analytical, proactive and pragmatic and you are expected to take ownership of tasks. You have in-depth knowledge of the architecture of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations specialized in Finance modules. You are able to translate this knowledge into pragmatic and sustainable solutions of high quality, in accordance with customer requirements.
