This full-time role involves safely operating material handling equipment to ensure smooth goods flow through the distribution centre. The ideal candidate has NC II certification and 1–2 years of forklift experience, with exposure to counterbalance, transformer, and reach trucks.

Qualifications

• Must have NC II certification.
• Experience operating counterbalance, transformer, and reach truck.
• 1–2 years forklift experience.
• Applicants with no experience may apply for Picker position with NC II certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as counterbalance, transformer, and reach truck in accordance with safety protocols and company procedure.
• Receive and follow work instructions from Supervisor/Team Leader.
• Transfer and move pallets from dock to designated locations.
• Perform pallet put-away and let-down activities based on replenishment requirements.
• Conduct MHE inspection before use and report defects to Supervisor/Team Leader.
• Perform forklift battery replacement and charging of discharged batteries as required.
• Ensure proper handling of pallets to prevent damage.
• Assist Inventory Assistant/Analyst during inventory and cycle-counting activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the work area.
• Follow company policies and MHE operating guidelines.

About the role

We are seeking an MHE Operator to join YCH Logistics Philippines, Inc. in San Pedro City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our warehouse and logistics operations. As an MHE Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating material handling equipment to support the smooth flow of goods through distribution centre.

Key responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as counterbalance, transformer, and reach truck units and other warehouse machinery in accordance with safety protocols and company procedure.

• Receive and follow work instructions and tasks from the Supervisor/Team Leader.

• Transfer and move pallets from the dock, put-away, let-down, and picking areas to designated locations.

• Perform pallet put-away and let-down activities based on replenishment requirements.

• Conduct MHE inspection before use and immediately report any defects, damages, or operational issues to the Supervisor/Team Leader.

• Perform forklift battery replacement and charging of discharged batteries as required.

• Ensure proper handling and positioning of pallets to prevent product or equipment damage.

• Assist the Inventory Assistant/Analyst during inventory and cycle-counting activities.

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the assigned work area.

• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and proper MHE operating guidelines at all times.

What we're looking for

• With valid NC II certification

• With experience in operating counterbalance, transformer, and reach truck units

• With at least 1 to 2 years of experience in operating a forklift

• Applicants with no experience are welcome to apply for the Picker position, provided they have a valid NC II certification
