Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc is seeking an experienced professional to join the team as a Manager – Processing – Middle Office FINS DATA (HK). The role focuses on portfolio setup, amendments and terminations, ensuring correct client, product and currency links, and resolving data processing issues.

Responsibilities include reviewing work quality, handling escalations, monitoring SLAs, cross-training and business continuity, and driving workflow improvements while supporting client onboarding and system

Qualifications

• Knowledge & industry experience related to securities services operations.
• Able to read and understand SWIFT messaging.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Allocate daily workload pertaining to creation, amendment and termination of portfolios including brokers they traded, in accordance to volume, risk and deadlines.
• Confirm that portfolios are correctly linked to clients, products, currencies, markets and processing rules.
• Investigate data and settlement processing failures or exception.
• Review the quality of completed work.
• Handle escalations and performance issues.
• Monitor service-level performance and backlogs.
• Review the quality of completed work.
• Ensure cross-training and business continuity.
• Review existing procedures and identify control weaknesses including reducing the manual work and avoidable errors.
• Improve workflow and approval processes.
• Support client onboarding, system testing, upgrades and implementations.

Requirements

• University Graduate
• Knowledge & industry experience related to securities services operations
• Able to read and understand swift messaging.
• Aptitude for investigating and resolving complex issues and bespoke situations.
