A leading retail merchandising company in Metro Manila is seeking a Modern Trade Merchandiser. The role involves ensuring product visibility and compliance in supermarkets and other retail locations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has strong communication skills, plus experience in merchandising or sales. Candidates should be organized and willing to travel frequently to various stores.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in merchandising, sales or FMCG is preferred.
  • Knowledge of modern trade operations is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and able to handle product movements and display setups.
  • Willing to travel and work on-field regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and visually appealing product displays following company merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, check product availability, and coordinate with sales and supply chain team for replenishment.
  • Conduct regular store visits to verify product visibility, shelf arrangement, and promotional compliance.
  • Implement and maintain point-of-sales (POS) materials, promotional displays, and price tags.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions within assigned stores.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and store managers to secure additional shelf space or display opportunities.
  • Ensure products are new, clean and free from damage; manage product pullouts when necessary.
  • Assist in executing in-store promotions and sampling activities when required.
  • Provide timely reports on store conditions, sales movement, and merchandising issues.
  • Maintain good working relationships with key modern trade partners.
