Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a skilled professional to implement and manage strategies that meet sales and inventory goals. You will develop annual, seasonal, and monthly merchandise plans and coordinate with Buyers and Sales to optimize stock and profitability.

Your role includes analyzing past performance, forecasting demand, and communicating buy strategies, while maintaining tools and reports to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising planning processes and inventory management.
• Ability to analyze sales data and forecast demand.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining planning tools and reports.
• Strong communication with Buying and Sales Departments.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary partner for buyers on planning and inventory management processes and operating models.
• Manage the development of annual, seasonal and monthly merchandise plans.
• Manage monthly department level open-to-buy activities (Footwear/Apparel/Accessories).
• Communicate all relevant analysis, suggestions, and buy strategies to Buying and Sales Department.
• Develop, maintain and update tools, reports to support the needs of the business.
• Partner with Merchandising Manager to monitor product incoming and going.
• Partner with Allocations Manager to implement in-season replenishment strategies.
• Evaluate, analyze and report on business metrics.
• Establish and maintain accurate demand forecasts and manage product changes, promotions, etc.

Responsible for implementing strategies, that meet and exceed sales, gross margin and inventory goals. Responsible for the successful development, execution and communication of financial and inventory plans.

A. Technical Skills

Merchandise Planning

• Act as primary partner for buyers on planning and inventory management processes and operating models.
• Manage the development of annual, seasonal and monthly merchandise plans
• Manage monthly department(Footwear/Apparel/Accessories) level open-to-buy activities
• Communicate all relevant analysis, suggestions, and buy strategies to Buying and Sales Department.
• Develop, maintain and update tools, reports to support the needs of the business

Inventory Control

• Partner with Merchandising Manager to Monitoring and evaluating the product incoming and going.
• Partner with Allocations Manager to implement consistent and profitable in-season replenishment strategies and practices.
• Evaluate, analyze and report on business metrics
• Develop, maintain and update tools, reports to support the needs of the business

Sales Analysis

• Analyze past performance, identifying sales opportunities, conducting penetration analysis and turnover analysis
• Annual, Seasonal, and Monthly Comparative Sales.
• Summaries Weekly and Monthly Sales Report for Partners Reports submission.
• Establish and maintain accurate demand forecasts and execute managing / anticipating product changes, promotions, etc.
