Job summary

Triton Constructions Development Corporation in Romblon, Mimaropa, seeks a MEPEO-licensed Mining Engineer to lead mining projects with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.

You will design operations, perform geological assessments and feasibility studies, manage site activities, and prepare technical reports for regulators and stakeholders. This role is on-site in Romblon with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• MEPEO license and credentials.
• Bachelor's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of professional mining engineering/mining planning experience in the Philippine mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine mining regulations, environmental standards and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in mining software, CAD applications and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of geological mapping, ore body evaluation and mining methods.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship and sustainable mining practices.
• Willingness to work on-site in Romblon, Mimaropa and undertake field work as required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and overseeing mining operations, extraction methods and surveys to optimise resource recovery and operational efficiency.
• Conducting detailed geological assessments and feasibility studies to support project development and strategic planning.
• Developing and implementing mine safety protocols, risk assessments and environmental management plans in compliance with Philippine mining regulations.
• Managing mine site engineering activities including equipment selection, installation and maintenance planning.
• Preparing comprehensive technical reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and stakeholder communication.
• Liaising with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with mining laws, permits and operational requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, sustainability and procurement to deliver project objectives.
• Conducting site inspections and quality control assessments to monitor operational performance and environmental standards.
• Supporting mine planning activities, ore reserve estimates and mine closure planning as required.

What we're looking for

1. Valid MEPEO (Member of Philippine Institute of Mining Engineers and Geoscientists) license and credentials

2. Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution

3. Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in mining engineering, mine planning or related roles within the Philippine mining industry

4. Strong knowledge of Philippine mining regulations, environmental standards and safety requirements

5. Proficiency in mining software, CAD applications and data analysis tools commonly used in the industry

6. Excellent understanding of geological mapping, ore body evaluation and mining methods

7. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
