Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Team Leader for the Prior Authorization production line at our Laguna office. You will lead a team of agents, drive performance, ensure compliance, and partner with operations to optimize workflows in a healthcare setting.

The role demands leadership, strong understanding of PA processes, and ability to coach a diverse team to meet KPIs while maintaining quality and timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of recent Prior Authorization experience (medications).
• At least 2 years in Customer Support and Healthcare Operations.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Proven experience managing teams of 10+ members.
• Familiarity with prior authorization workflows and payer guidelines is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Prior Authorization agents to meet or exceed KPIs through coaching and feedback.
• Ensure agents are trained on payer requirements, clinical guidelines, and workflow changes for medication prior authorizations.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide floor support as SME for prior authorization policies and payer rules; handle escalations.
• Monitor work queues and coordinate with leadership to ensure timely PA submissions.
• Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, trend analyses, and case reviews.
