Job Description

The Medical Writer will provide medical expertise, support and clarity of scientific content for medical devices and related products. The role includes literature research, data interpretation, risk management, medical strategy development, training material creation, and support to commercial and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical expertise, support, and clarification of science as needed.
• Participate in literature research and interpretation of clinical study data in cooperation with Regional and Global Medical Affairs.
• Identify and address potential medical issues and ensure the implementation of risk management strategies.
• Participate in the development of medical strategies for the medical devices assigned to the sponsor's portfolio.
• Develop and review medical training materials and programs used to support initial and continuing training for new employees; provide medical knowledge and support to commercial, marketing, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• BS Nursing and Medical Doctors.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Writer with cardiology experience.
• Experience in copy review/copy editing; experience in clinical diagnostics and general surgery.
• Familiarity or experience with scientific writing and creation of medical presentation.
• Amendable to start as soon as possible.
