Job summary

CURE International in Davao City, Philippines, is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform tests, operate instruments, and ensure quality control in a hospital laboratory.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology and a current PRC license, with at least 1 year of hospital experience. You will support clinical decisions and patient care through accurate results and reliable procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Current PRC license to practice medical technology in the Philippines.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all laboratory duties including drawing blood and testing per physician request.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Participate in proficiency testing, quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.
• Document quality control results and take corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain specimen integrity and proper collection, transport, and testing procedures.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and reagent management.
• Report significant results to physicians and ensure timely communication.
• Ensure LIS/HIS data entry and accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments as needed.
