Job summary

Work-1 Manpower Recruitment Services is seeking a skilled Medical Coder with 2–5 years of experience to assign accurate ICD/CPT codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services. The role supports both inpatient and outpatient coding, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.

You will review clinical data for accuracy, collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses, and prepare/submission of claims to insurers to facilitate timely reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of medical coding experience.
• CPC and CCS certifications; proficiency in OP/IP coding, claims processing, ED and EM coding.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient coding processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services based on documentation.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyze clinical data for accuracy in coding.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and treatment plans.
