Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Medical Claims Associate to ensure timely and accurate support for policyholders.

You will assess medical claims under our health plans and participate in service excellence projects that enhance the overall claims experience. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in insurance claims handling or related fields, with a Diploma or Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related discipline, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Nursing or relevant discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in insurance claims handling, customer servicing, nursing or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret medical reports and policy terms.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assess Medical Claims: Deliver accurate and timely assessment of medical claims, ensuring prompt and fair payouts in line with service standards
• Review pending claims to ensure reserve adequacy and closure of claims in a timely manner
• Liaise professionally with medical institutions and policyholders to clarify outstanding requirements and ensure smooth claims processing
• Conduct quality checks on processed claims to uphold high standards of accuracy and compliance on straight-through processing engine

About the role

As a Medical Claims Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our policyholders receive timely and accurate support when they need it most. You'll also assess medical claims under our health plans and contribute to service excellence initiatives and exciting projects that enhance the overall claims experience.

Location:Singapore, Raffles Place

Salary:Up to $3800 + completion bonus

Working Hours:Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Nursing or any relevant discipline
• 1–3 years of experience in insurance claims handling, customer servicing, nursing or related fields (fresh graduates with strong interest in claims are welcome to apply)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret medical reports and policy terms
