Job summary

Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design professional in Laguna to develop power device packages. The role involves creating 3D models, generating 2D drawings, performing tolerance analyses and simulations to ensure designs meet stringent specifications.

The candidate should have 2+ years in power electronics/semiconductor design and 2D/3D CAD experience (SolidWorks/Autodesk), with a background in packaging technologies and tooling. On-site position in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BSME, BSEE, BSECE, BSElectronics Engineering, or an equivalent course.
• At least 2 years of experience in Power Electronics/Semiconductor Design.
• At least 2 years of experience in Electronics/Semiconductor Assembly or Tooling.
• At least 3 years of experience using 2D/3D Design Software (SolidWorks/Autodesk).
• Background on FEA Mechanical Simulation, Power Discrete Package Technology, Plastic Package, Leadframe and Substrate Design, Semicon Assy/Tooling.

Responsibilities

• Implements assigned mechanical design tasks, including 3D model creation, 2D drawings, tolerance analysis and mechanical simulations, in development of power devices, products or systems to meet specifications on time and within budget.
• Execute the package design to meet electrical, thermal, reliability, assembly and mechanical requirements.
• Undertakes engineering analysis and calculations, including review of components and materials, enabling effective design optimization and fitness for purpose.

Responsibilities

• Implements assigned mechanical design tasks, including but not limited to mechanical concept design, 3D model creation, 2D drawings, tolerance analysis and mechanical simulations, as an individual or as part of a team, in the development of power devices, products or systems IN ORDER TO deliver the required output according to specifications, on time, within budget and in compliance with the group's quality management system.
• Responsible to execute the package design to meet the electrical, thermal, reliability, assembly and mechanical requirements.
• Undertakes engineering analysis and calculations, including the review of components and materials, enabling effective design optimization and ensuring fitness for purpose.
