Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of mechanical engineering design and project implementation experience in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design tools; familiarity with project management software.

• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate a project from start to finish, including schedule, costing, and budget.
• Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and shop drawings per specs.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, site inspections, and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery and installation of mechanical components.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety, and sustainability guidelines.
• Attend client and contractor meetings providing technical expertise.
• Evaluate progress and submit detailed reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for senior management.
• Assess contractors' and sub-contractors' progress billing based on milestones.
