Job summary

Pilmico Animal Nutrition Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to oversee plant equipment maintenance, lubrication, and preventive/corrective actions to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role requires a Mechanical Technology graduate, a Certified Plant Mechanic, and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, hydraulics, and automated plant systems. 5S compliance and SAP EAM data integrity are also emphasized.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Technology graduate or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in mechanical equipment operation and maintenance.
• Basic background on refrigeration (ammonia system) operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machineries.
• Conducts problem solving for mechanical variances and consults the Supervisor.
• Inspects machinery and operating parameters and initiates corrective actions.
• Performs scheduled lubrication of plant equipment and machineries.
• Designs and monitors mechanical fabrication and installation works.
• Maintains spare parts inventory and prepares parts lists.
• Ensures records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Attends emergency service requests and night calls as needed.
• Supports 5S compliance and assists in supervising contractors.
• Performs startup of plant equipment and related tasks.
• Monitors fuel, water, effluent, and power consumption for abnormalities.
• Ensures repair and maintenance costs stay within budget.
• Initiates plant innovations to reduce operating costs.
