Anymall PH is seeking an Mechanical Engineer to design and refine lightweight, recyclable 3D CAD assemblies and provide ECO-focused insights in a fast-paced environment.
You will prototype, test, and evaluate performance and energy efficiency, while contributing to material choices that lower carbon footprints. Collaboration with suppliers and sustainability experts will be essential for product line optimization.
Draft and refine 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings prioritizing lightweighting, design for disassembly, and recyclability using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.
Build, physically test, and evaluate mechanical prototypes for durability, energy efficiency, and low-carbon operation.
Perform basic energy consumption, fluid flow, and thermal efficiency calculations, as well as assist with screening materials for lower carbon footprints (Life Cycle Assessment).
Maintain engineering change orders (ECOs), draft eco-design compliance documentation, update Bills of Materials (BOM) with recycled/bio-based components, and record test data.
Collaborate with sustainable material suppliers, manufacturing partners, and sustainability specialists to optimize clean-tech product lines.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or any related course
Proficiency in 3D CAD software and basic FEA/simulation tools.
Understanding of eco-design principles, energy efficiency metrics, or sustainable material properties (e.g., biopolymers, recycled alloys).
Familiarity with physical lab equipment, rapid prototyping (such as 3D printing), and standard measurement tools (calipers, flow meters, thermal sensors).
Ability to evaluate mechanical tradeoffs between performance, structural integrity, cost, and environmental impact.
