Job summary

HBS MARKETING CORPORATION is seeking a skilled Draftsman / Layouter to join its stainless kitchen equipment fabrication team in Quezon City. You will prepare technical drawings, layouts, cutting lists, and production details for work tables, sinks, hoods, cabinets, and shelving.

The role requires strong drafting ability, knowledge of stainless fabrication processes, and coordination with production, engineering, and installation teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of drafting or engineering-related program with strong drafting skills.
• Reads and interprets technical drawings for fabrication of stainless steel kitchen equipment.
• Experience in stainless fabrication or kitchen equipment manufacturing is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and layouts for stainless kitchen equipment.
• Produce cutting lists, material estimates, and fabrication details.
• Coordinate dimensions with clients, engineers, and production teams.
• Revise drawings based on site measurements and comments.
• Ensure drawings meet fabrication standards and project requirements.
• Support production with technical clarifications during fabrication.
• Conduct site measurements when needed and maintain revision records.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman / Layouter to join our stainless kitchen equipment fabrication team. The successful candidate will prepare technical drawings, fabrication layouts, cutting lists, and production details for custom stainless steel kitchen equipment such as work tables, sinks, exhaust hoods, cabinets, shelving, and food service systems. The role requires strong technical drafting skills, understanding of stainless fabrication processes, and the ability to coordinate with production, engineering, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and layout plans for stainless kitchen equipment
• Interpret architectural, mechanical, and kitchen layout drawings
• Produce cutting lists, material estimates, and fabrication details
• Coordinate dimensions and specifications with clients, engineers, and production supervisors
• Revise drawings based on site measurements and client comments
• Ensure drawings comply with fabrication standards and project requirements
• Assist production team with technical clarifications during fabrication
• Conduct site measurements when required
• Maintain organized drawing files and revision records
• Support project coordination and scheduling activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Mechanical Technology, Engineering, Architecture, or related course
• Minimum of 13 years experience in stainless steel fabrication or kitchen equipment manufacturing
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp (preferred), Microsoft Office
• Ability to read technical and construction drawings
• Knowledge of stainless steel fabrication methods and materials
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial kitchen equipment layout
• Familiarity with food service industry standards
• Knowledge in sheet metal fabrication and welding processes
• Basic 3D modeling skills
