Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least 2 years in design, and strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 2+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
• PE certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, CAM and 3D CAD.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and design teams to determine mechanical requirements.
• Conduct research to inform design and engineering methods.
• Plan and execute designs using CAD/CAM and 3D CAD tools.
• Run computer simulations and experiments to test designs.
• Oversee development and manufacturing of prototypes for testing.
• Document design processes, iterations, and test analytics.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers.
