Qualifications

• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicle performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle performance issues.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain vehicle performance and safety.
• Assuring that parts and systems are tested to ensure that they function properly.
• Performing basic automobile maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Repairing or modifying a car to a client’s specifications, if possible.
• Maintaining vehicle performance and durability by doing periodic maintenance (changing fluids, lubricating components, etc.).
• Scheduling future maintenance appointments and providing people tips on how to drive safely.
• Fixing difficulties by repairing or replacing broken or faulty pieces (e.g. leaks).

• Identifying possible flaws in an automobile by using manual and electronic diagnostic procedures.
• Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to clients.

• Assuring that parts and systems are tested to ensure that they function properly.
