Job summary

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Philippines is seeking a dedicated project support role for the Cotabato project team to monitor and report on multiple initiatives that serve the poor and vulnerable across BARMM and Mindanao. The role requires strong coordination, data collection and reporting skills, with heavy travel expectations.

The candidate will coordinate activities, monitor progress, support M&E, engage local partners, and help document case studies while ensuring compliance with CRS

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the implementation plan in line with CRS standards.
• Monitor and report on challenges to inform adjustments to plans and timelines; assist stakeholders with reflection on experiences.
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities and assist with data collection, analysis and reporting per mechanisms/tools; assist with report preparation.
• Collect information on local capacity and technical needs of partners; monitor capacity building and support effective impact.
• Complete project documentation for assigned activities; help identify information for case studies and reports on promising practices.

Job Description

As a member of the Cotabato project team, you will monitor and report on all project activities of three projects (LDS Project HOPE: Healthy, Open, Peace‑Empowered Schools in BARMM–SGA; LDS Women Advancing Sustainable Livelihood and Economic Empowerment in the Bangsamoro and the Peace Accords Matrix Mindanao) in support of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) work serving the poor and vulnerable. Your thorough and service-oriented approach will ensure that the project consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve.

Responsibilities

Roles and Key Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan in line with CRS program quality principles and standards, donor requirements, and good practices.
• Monitor and report on any challenges and/or gaps identified to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules. Assist project stakeholders in their efforts to reflect on project experiences.
• Support accountability through coordinating project monitoring and evaluation activities and assisting project stakeholders in their efforts to collect and analyze project data per specified mechanisms and tools. Collaborate with key CRS project staff to support preparation of reports per established reporting schedule.
• Collect information on local capacity needs and technical assistance needs of key community, school and local government partners and monitor capacity building and technical support activities to ensure effective impact.
• Complete project documentation for assigned activities. Assist with identifying information for case studies and reports on promising practices.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree relevant to the area
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in project support.
• Experience in participatory action planning and community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience monitoring projects and collecting relevant data preferred.
• Experience in the field of peacebuilding, peace education, WASH, gender and development and for an NGO would be a plus.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Proficient in using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Observation, active listening and analysis skills with ability to make sound judgment
• Experience in field data collection, consolidation, analysis, and reporting.
• Good relationship management skills and the ability to work closely with local partners and community members
• Attention to details, accuracy and timeliness in executing assigned responsibilities
• Proactive, results-oriented and service-oriented
