Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, formulas, data analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good coordination and communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate material requirements within the 3-month planning horizon.
• Generate and monitor the monthly list of material shortages and requirements.
• Coordinate with Production Planner on material delivery dates for on-time production.
• Work with Purchasing and Accounts to address supplier delivery commitments.
• Monitor availability and allocation of common materials and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Identify risks of material shortages and coordinate action plans.
• Recommend safety stocks for critical materials when needed.
• Support initiatives to maintain the lowest possible inventory level without impacting production.
• Analyze material planning and inventory data to improve performance.
• Perform related Supply Chain and materials planning activities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Materials Planner who will be responsible for planning and coordinating the availability of materials needed to support production requirements and ensure the timely delivery of finished products.

The role will manage material requirements within a 3-month planning horizon, coordinate closely with Production, Purchasing, and other stakeholders, and help optimize inventory levels while ensuring material availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate material requirements based on production needs within the 3-month planning horizon.
• Generate and monitor the monthly list of material shortages and requirements.
• Coordinate with the Production Planner on required material delivery dates to ensure on-time production and finished goods delivery.
• Work closely with Purchasing and Accounts to address supplier delivery commitments that do not meet production lead times.
• Monitor the availability and allocation of common materials and provide timely updates and recommendations to concerned stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks of material shortages and coordinate appropriate action plans.
• Recommend the establishment of safety stocks for critical materials, when necessary.
• Support initiatives to maintain the lowest possible inventory level without compromising production requirements.
• Analyze material planning and inventory data and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Perform other related Supply Chain and materials planning activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• With 3–5 years of experience in Materials Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Planning, or a related Supply Chain function.
• Preferably with experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• With working knowledge of SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with Production, Purchasing, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
