We are seeking an experienced Workforce Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting systems impacted people who are in the process of re-entering the workforce, experience in workforce development training programs and a deep commitment to social justice.
In this role, you will work with the BlocPower team to successfully launch and manage a workforce development program in the Boston metro area, focused on training and preparing people for careers in the green economy and building electrification industry. With support from the BlocPower team, you’ll be responsible for program design, collaborating closely with a network of organizations to support the program participants, developing measurement and verification plans, preparing impact assessment reports and other program management related tasks. A successful program will have a visible impact on the local economy and the employment opportunities for the program participants.
This position is for a goal oriented, self motivated and outgoing "people" and “operations” person who is willing to roll up their sleeves to build something new alongside a motivated and passionate team. The ideal person will create and maintain positive working relationships with program participants, and be a self-starter committed to the mission, values, beliefs of BlocPower.
