Job summary

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets drawing plans.
• Prepares surfaces before work.
• Plaster ceilings and/or walls.
• Lay blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans and drawings.
• Install and repair wall and/or floor tiles.
• Carpentry work incidental to masonry work.
• Replace broken tiles, etc.
• Breaks or cuts stones, marble, tiles, or blocks to size with hand tools.
• Make finishing touches.
• Estimate masonry works.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Prepares and submits reports to his supervisor.
• Executes additional functions as assigned from time to time.
