Job summary

Metrobank in the Philippines is seeking a Market & Liquidity Risk Officer to drive the identification, analysis, and management of market and liquidity risks across the bank's balance sheet and trading activities. The role supports investment and funding strategies while ensuring robust risk controls and alignment with strategic objectives.

You will work with risk teams to develop models, monitor regulatory limits, and prepare reports for ALCO, ROC, and the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Physics.
• 3–5 years of related experience, preferably from treasury/trader roles in smaller banks with market risk.

Responsibilities

• Drives identification, analysis, measurement, and management of market, IRRBB, and liquidity risks across Metrobank’s balance sheet and trading operations.
• Supports selection and execution of investment, balance sheet, and funding strategies.
• Builds infrastructure for allocating, monitoring, and reporting risk and performance in line with strategic objectives.
• Assesses new products for potential risks and maintains risk control through ongoing monitoring and reporting.
• Participates in risk oversight, regulatory reporting, and communications with ALCO, ROC, and BOD.
