Job summary

Manulife Philippines seeks a detail-oriented professional to handle routine transactions with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining records and coordinating with partners to resolve inquiries and escalations.

The role requires 2–3 years in Investment/Wealth or similar industries, night shift capability, and a hybrid on-site schedule. Strong MS Office skills and clear English communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 2–3 years relevant experience in Investment/Wealth/Securities or similar, BPO/Shared Services a plus.
  • Able to work night shift and hybrid setup 3x onsite.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with analytical/problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Process routine and standard transactions.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records for distribution channels/clients.
  • Collaborate with Contact Centre, Advisory Support Managers, and Vendor for escalated issues.
  • Communicate with internal/external partners to ensure timely processing.
  • Assist with documentation of internal/external processes.
  • Identify and resolve basic to semi-complex problems using guidelines.
  • Escalate complex cases when needed.
  • Prioritize work amid fluctuating/unplanned tasks.
  • Understand implications of actions for semi-complex issues.

Job description

The role is responsible for processing routine and standard transactions while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders. The individual will maintain transaction records, coordinate with various business partners to resolve inquiries and escalations, and support the continuous improvement of operational processes. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment in handling semi-complex issues, and the ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities
  • Processing all routine and standard transactions
  • Maintains accurate records of transactions to interact effectively with distribution channels and/or clients.
  • Partner with Contact Centre, Advisory Support Managers, and Vendor (FCC) for escalated issue resolution
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to ensure requests and transactions are processed in a timely manner
  • Assist with the documentation of internal and external processes
  • Identifies and solves most basic and some complex problems based on an understanding of the customer’s needs, using investigation and established guidelines
  • Recognizes the need to escalated complex cases
  • Prioritizes departmental work to accommodate fluctuating or unplanned work
  • Understands the implications of action or inaction and makes appropriate decisions on semi- complex issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or any related course
  • At least 2-3 year/s relevant professional experience preferably in Investment/Wealth, Securities or similar industry. BPO/Shared Service experience would be an asset due to our collaboration with multi-national teams
  • Amenable to work on a night shift work schedule and hybrid work sect up of 3x a week onsite.
  • Advance Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Client-centric exposure
  • Analytical, research and problem solving skills
  • Exposure and understanding of Investment and Wealth Products
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with, establish relationships with the Business Units.
  • Time management skills with the ability to be flexible to changing
