Job summary

Jollibee Group Foundation is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to oversee daily production operations, drive safety, efficiency, and quality, and manage staff, schedules, and budgets. The role focuses on staffing, cost control, and continuous process improvements on-site at the Cebu facility.

The ideal candidate has a background in Food Technology or Engineering, with 5+ years in food manufacturing and 3+ years in plant operations management, plus strong leadership and ERP experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of manufacturing experience in a food manufacturing plant.
  • At least three years of plant operations management in a multinational or top local company.
  • Knowledge of production management software, ERP systems, and machinery.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willing to work onsite in Danao, Cebu.

Responsibilities

  • Production Management: Planning, scheduling, and directing production processes to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Staff Leadership: Hiring, training, mentoring, and supervising production staff, including performance management and shift scheduling.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring the production floor adheres to all company SOPs, safety protocols, and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA).
  • Operational Efficiency: Identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is functional, repaired, and properly calibrated.
  • Reporting: Delivering regular production reports, quality metrics, and budget updates to senior management.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
