Job summary

WD is building the infrastructure behind the AI-driven data economy. The Data Management & Systems Engineer will automate inspection data collection, analyze yield trends, and develop real-time dashboards to enable data-driven decisions in manufacturing.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, automation, and vendors, lead digital transformation initiatives, manage inspection algorithms, and promote a data-driven culture across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or computer field.
• At least 2 years experience with statistical data analysis tools, AI-based inspection, ML, Python, SQL, databases or IoT.
• Electronics/semiconductor manufacturing exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate inspection data collection and reporting for visibility and accuracy.
• Analyze data to identify yield patterns and develop real-time dashboards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and automation teams to integrate data from systems.
• Lead digital initiatives to simplify processes and improve factory efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity and promote a data-driven culture within engineering.
• Maintain and troubleshoot tools; coordinate with vendors for upgrades.
• Use Python, SQL, and Power BI to analyze trends and visualize data.
• Act as focal person for inspection algorithm updates and validation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
