We collaborate in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative solutions, and demonstrating meticulousness.**About the Role**You will primarily be responsible for providing financial analysis and insight into the performance of multiple Elsevier Business Units representing over $3b worth of sales and revenue of Elsevier. You will manage a team of 4 and work closely with Business Decision Support finance teams (BDS). You will play a crucial role in building a dynamic service-oriented culture and maintaining the reputation of the Centre of Expertise. **Key Responsibilities:*** Lead the delivery of key management reporting and analysis to supported Business Units, Elsevier senior leadership and RELX (parent company) FP&A* Drive the development of Budgets, Forecasts, and monthly LV for sales across regions and key products* Participate in the quota setting process for the sales organisation* Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, implementation of GenAI tools, process redesign* Own sales planning application (Oracle)* Coordinate reporting and budgeting/forecasting cycles within BDS, ensuring the requirements and deadlines of Elsevier FP&A are met**Qualifications:*** Bachelor's Degree holder* 10-15 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis, including providing commentaries for senior stakeholders* Have very strong analytical skills and MS Excel modeling capabilities to provide deep insights and resolve finance inquiries* Experience with manipulating large data sets, as well as ability to quickly learn new systems and tools* Be proactive and motivated individual with a can-do mentality, ready to take on challenges in a complex and demanding environment.
