IQ-EQ invites a senior leader to oversee a fund accounting team of 10–20 professionals, guiding performance, client satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory standards.

You will manage stakeholder relationships, optimize resources, and drive strategic initiatives while maintaining high-quality outputs and risk controls in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in fund accounting or related areas.
• 1–2 years in a leadership role with team management responsibilities.

THIS ROLE

As a leadership role within Asset Owner Solutions, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10-20 fund accounting professionals while driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and service delivery. You will provide technical and operational leadership, oversee team performance, and ensure high-quality outputs aligned with client and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will manage stakeholder relationships, optimize resource allocation, and execute strategic initiatives, while guiding your team through performance management, process improvements, and adherence to policies and business plans under the direction of senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll lead, coach, and develop a team of fund accounting professionals by setting performance goals, conducting reviews, and supporting career growth and talent decisions.
• You’ll oversee service delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and client-specific governance standards.
• You’ll manage client relationships and act as the escalation point for complex issues, driving resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
• You’ll drive operational efficiency through resource planning, workload allocation, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• You’ll execute strategic and operational priorities by implementing team initiatives, supporting change management, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.

ABOUT YOU

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA (or equivalent) preferred, and at least 8 years of progressive experience, including 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• You have strong expertise in fund accounting processes, regulatory compliance, and risk management, with the ability to review and approve complex financial reports and client deliverables.
• You demonstrate experience in resource planning, capacity management, and leading operational initiatives such as client onboarding, system implementation, and process optimization.
• You have a proven track record of driving operational excellence through performance monitoring, KPI management, process improvements, and effective resolution of escalated client issues.
• You possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a results-driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams and align with organizational goals.
