Filta, a Dublin-based accountancy practice, is hiring a Management Accountant for UK practice experience with a mid-shift schedule. The role covers preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and collaborating with directors across international teams from Makati, Cebu, or Clark offices.

The candidate should have CPA with UK public practice exposure, strong Xero skills, and solid knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC processes, along with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• CPA with at least three years of experience in UK public practice.
• Hands-on experience in management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT preparation.
• Advanced proficiency in Xero and cloud accounting platforms.
• Meticulous attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts from varied bookkeeping sources.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns with full reconciliations and audit trail.
• Support Director/Partner on ad-hoc client projects and reporting packs.
• Answer bookkeeping queries from clients and internal staff; improve workflows and checklists.
• Report to Ireland-based manager and deliver accurate UK GAAP reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Management Accountant , you will report to an Ireland based manager and deliver accurate, timely reporting under UK GAAP, ensure full HMRC compliance, and support stakeholders with clear, reliable communication and detail-driven execution.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts from varied bookkeeping sources

Prepare and submit VAT returns with full reconciliations and audit trail

Support Director/Partner on ad-hoc client projects and reporting packs

Answer bookkeeping queries from clients and internal staff; improve workflows and checklists

What You’ll Bring

A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with at least three years of experience in a UK public practice.

Demonstrated, hands-on experience in management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT preparation.

Advanced proficiency in Xero and strong familiarity with other cloud-based accounting platforms.

Meticulous attention to detail, consistent adherence to deadlines, and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Working knowledge of UK GAAP and relevant HMRC processes.
