Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Visayas region to oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of warehouses and stores' facilities and equipment. You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safe, reliable operations.

You should have an engineering degree (Electrical/Electronic), at least 3 years in facilities maintenance or repair, and experience in retail or fast-food settings.

Qualifications

• Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Facilities Maintenance/Repair.
• Experience in the retail or fast-food industry is required.
• Must be able to read and interpret building plans.
• Knowledge of panel board installation and basic carpentry.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repairs - perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections of the warehouse and/or store's facilities and equipment.
• Inspections and Testing - conduct regular tests and inspections of equipment, machines, and facilities to ensure good working condition.
• Preventive Maintenance - implement maintenance procedures to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure longevity of facilities such as electric and energy systems, HVAC systems, generator units, and other systems.
• Communication and Collaboration - work with team members, contractors, and vendors, coordinating activities and reporting issues.
• Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.

• Inspections and Testing - conduct regular tests and inspections of equipment/machines, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition. This includes diagnosing malfunctions, identifying potential safety hazards and addressing even minor issues that could impact the safety or functionality of the retail store's facilities and equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance - enhance and implement maintenance procedures to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure the longevity of facilities such as electric and energy systems, HVAC systems, generator units, and other systems.
• Communication and Collaboration - work closely with other team members, contractors, and vendors. Effective communication and collaboration skills are important for coordinating maintenance activities, reporting issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior from time to time.

Job Requirements
